Tuesdays from 8:30am-11:30am, and Thursdays from 2pm-5pm
Summary:
The General Technician is responsible for safely assisting in the operation of equipment, including packaging, stacking and sorting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
. Package pallets/containers of parts to meet customer specifications
. Ensure quality of parts when stacking
. Assist with die change and setup of equipment
. Maintain housekeeping of assigned area
. Follow safe working practices and procedures at all times
. Perform required tasks in manufacturing area ensuring parts meet customer specifications.
Supervisory Responsibilities
. None
Skills and Abilities
. Effective oral and written communication skills
Physical Demands
. Ability to stand for full shift
. Ability to lift and handle parts of 30 pounds to meet standard OEE
. Ability to bend, push/pull
Work Environment
.This position will perform work in a plant environment
. High noise level
. Handling of sharp parts
