This role will be responsible for all aspects of the operation with the exception of Inventory Control. This includes but is not limited to Inbound, Outbound, and Returns.
The Fulfillment Center General Manager will
- Lead and Develop Managers and their teams to Aim for the Podium in all aspects of their day to day
- Motivate and support the FC to develop bench strength, create succession plans, and establish a high morale culture that Fuels their Passion
- Communicates business information to the departments through weekly team meetings, 1:1’s, and all hands. Be transparent & Keep it Real
- Complete accountability for meeting and exceeding goals related to accuracy, on time performance, productivity while providing feedback in a “no jerks mentality” & Shares the Road.
- Work with the on site Planning Manager to develop a staffing plan and adjust accordingly to handle daily, weekly and seasonal peaks - Take Risks, Wear a Helmet.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze reporting related to Global TPH, Cost per Unit, individual productivity, and department productivity
- Fluctuate staffing levels to work within the AOP and subsequent plan updates
- Day-to-day oversight of the fulfillment team; including hands-on training, coaching, planning, and performance reviews
- Manage all aspects of Comoto's Outbound Fulfillment operation, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately, quickly and efficiently. Always exceeding customer expectations
- Manage all aspects of Comoto's Inbound Fulfillment operation, ensuring inbound product is received and put away, while maintaining less than 1 week worth of backlog.
- Maintain and develop a relationship with a flexible workforce company
- Complete accountability for meeting and exceeding goals related to accuracy, on time performance and productivity
- Advises managers on labor issues including safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training, and grievances
- Manages budgets for the facility and departments, working closely with the VP of Fulfillment
The Fulfillment General Manager should have
- Direct and Indirect management of 200+ employees, including managing multiple managers and supervisors across different shifts.
- Exceptional people & communication skills. Must possess the ability to motivate, coach and train in an ever-changing & competitive environment
- Ability to analyze and continuously improve current conditions to ensure efficiency, safety and profitability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment
- Extremely strong computer skills. Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Powerpoint and have 5+ years experience working within a WMS or ERP system
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-evolving high growth environment
- Must be goal focused and metrics driven
- Must possess the proven ability to drive process improvements and the ability to keep pace with explosive growth while motivating others to meet the challenges of a competitive and goal orientated environment
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a critical thinker who has the ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize

Additional Information
Additional Job Elements:
- Will need to work outside of normal business hours & will be on call 7 day per week.
- Schedule will need to flex week to week depending on the needs of the operation.
- The ability to lift and move up to 49 pounds
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
- Should be able to work in an environment with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variations
