Overview:
A Gatherings Assistant Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day operations in the field. Most of their time is to be spent in the field managing trades and assuring the proper construction of one or two floors of a Gathering’s building.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • A Gathering’s superintendent is responsible for the timely and safe completion of a Gathering’s building.
  • Assistant Superintendent will be required to manage finish trades from sheetrock to completion on a minimum of eight (8) homes simultaneously.
  • Manage quality, safety, and cleanliness
  • Updates the project schedule daily
  • Follows the 3 week look ahead schedules to coordinate the next trade in sequence
  • Manages activities within BuildPro
  • Verifies product features and options (OAR forms) are correct
  • Attends weekly safety and coordination meetings with field staff and trades
  • Support the project trade team
  • Arranges for disposal of surplus materials.
  • Unlock trailer, site, buildings in the morning and locks every night
  • Walks all buildings in progress and updates ProCore daily log including:
  • Safety observations / Manpower Logs / Photos / Trade Progress / Deliveries
  • Call trades to notify them when they will need to be on-site
  • Finalizes Daily reports for certification and distribution by Superintendent
Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma
  • At least two (2) years of multifamily or single-family construction experience
Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge multifamily construction
  • Competent with MS Project
  • Competent with Hyphen Systems Build Pro
  • Competent with ProCore
  • Competent with Microsoft programs, Excel, Word, & Outlook
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Spanish language is preferred
Physical Requirements:
  • May have occasion to lift/carry and/or push/pull 50 pounds.
  • This is a field position travel to multiple construction sites where temperature, weather and noise may vary; may encounter electrical, dust, poor ventilation, dangerous machinery and moving objects and toxic conditions.
