Caring family located in Rancho Santa Fe, seeking a dedicated and doting care provider for their two kids (5yo daughter and newborn due June 2023). Family is seeking someone who walks into their home with a great attitude and a loving, happy disposition. The ideal candidate is someone high energy, active and able to adjust their methods of care in ways that stimulate positive development, as the children grow.

*Please note the client is currently located in LA JOLLA, and will be moving to RANCHO SANTA FE this winter. Ideal candidate will be able to commute to La Jolla for the time being*

Schedule:
M-TH: 7am to 6pm
Friday: 7am to 4pm

*OT starts AFTER 9 hours in day, 45 hours in a week*
Pay: $28-$32/hr/ OT RATE $42-48 an hour approx $80k a year

Must be an experienced candidate who will care for the kids as their own. They are looking for someone who will provide a safe and loving environment for the children. In addition to childcare, the role will require light household duties like, but not limited to: light tidying and laundry, tidying of play areas the child will occupy, and cleaning bottles as needed. Must also be knowledgeable of safe sleep practices for infants and toddlers. Nanny vehicle is provided for all working hours.

Primary responsibilities - Above all else, must be able to create an attentive and loving environment for the child. You must have an in-depth knowledge of child development and stages of growth. You must be capable of maintaining a routine schedule for a baby, especially one centered around feeding.

Duties:
Light Laundry for kids and putting away
Light tidying of main areas, and play areas child will occupy
Maintain a feeding schedule for baby
Preparing, sanitizing, and cleaning bottles
Light meal prep for oldest daughter (snacks, lunches, etc)
Adhere to a sleeping schedule for baby
Able to adjust diet as baby grows (i.e introducing new foods, as diet will expand as child grows)
Play centered around sensory play and development of gross motor skills (i.e tummy time)
Healthy and active - must take little one out on walks, outside/backyard play and parks as he grows

Must Haves:
COVID Vaccinated required
CPR & First Aid training, current
Clean driving record, no DUI or DWI Non-Smoker
Reliable car to get you to and from work
3+ years of nanny experience
3+ years of Newborn/Infant experience
3+ years of multiples experience
Be able to provide 3 - 5 supervisory references

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
