The FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST provides administrative support to the community and plays an important role in hospitality and making our residents feel valued. Normal Hours: 11:00pm-7:00am Friday, Saturday & Sunday

The following duties are normal for this position and are to be performed with courtesy using a high level of customer service. Must interact courteously, tactfully, and politely with managers, co-workers, residents, vendors or associates to preserve productivity and moral. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.

· Possess a passion to work with and around senior citizens.

· Able to communicate in a warm, friendly, well-mannered, and caring manner.

· Prior experience as receptionist or professional work environment

· Computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook a plus

· Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.

· Quick responses with good judgment in emergency situations ensuring resident safety.

· Observe all community safety policies and procedures.

· Assumes accountability for information contained in the employee handbook.

· Answers all incoming calls and directs caller to appropriate destination. Answers general questions about the community and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.

· Accepts and logs all incoming packages and calls residents or staff involved to pick up packages.

· Accept and log guest room reservations and maintain reservation confirmation forms.

· Performs incidental housekeeping and maintenance tasks as may arise during regular duties, to maintain a clean, safe, pleasant environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

· Monitor closed circuit security TV cameras and fire alarm board.

· Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff.

· Performs administrative support functions such as typing, filing, photocopying.

· Performs other duties as assigned and which relate to the success of the community, and the comfort, care and well being of our residents.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
