Full time (36+ hour) receptionist. Looking to find a self-motivated, team-oriented, personable, and flexible individual to serve as a receptionist in a veterinary clinic. This is a unique opportunity to join a busy and growing veterinary practice.

Individual must be organized, professional, friendly, and outgoing. A love and passion for the care of animals is required. Basic computer, language, and mathematical skills are required. Additional soft-ware specific computer training will be provided. Experience as a receptionist and/or in the medical field (human or animal) is preferred.

Job requirements include:
-Client communications (answering phone, scheduling appointments, fielding messages, completing client transactions)
-Inputting medical information and charges to the software system.
-Scanning and filing medical documents
-Money handling
-Filling prescriptions
-Maintaining a clean and organized working environment
-Minimal animal handling may be required.

Applicant must be available to work Monday through Friday 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM. Extended hours will be required periodically. Applicant must possess excellent computer skills, a willingness to learn, strong initiative, great organizational skills, a positive attitude, a friendly demeanor, and must work well in a team setting.

Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

A minimum of 2 years reception experience.

At least 2 references are required.
