Must Have Wood Framing Experience And Be Able to Read And Interpret Plans and Specs and speak Spanish and English.

We looking to hire a supervisor specializing in wood framing buildings Residential and Commercial.

• Supervise laborers, make work assignments, monitor quality, and motivate the crew. Must command the respect of the work crew.
• Expedite timely completion of the work to maintain schedule and budget goals.
• Ensure Jobsite safety, protection, and maintenance of company tools
• Maintain discipline of employees. Lead is responsible for maintaining correct dress and behavior standards on the job.
• Train Laborers
• Read and interpret paperwork, including all plans and specifications, purchase orders, subcontractor work orders, and cost updates. Bring questions, discrepancies, and unusual conditions to the attention of the (PM)
• Provide necessary information to the Construction Workerager for change order requests at the time of request from the client.
• Understand change order procedures and ensure that all change orders are written up and signed prior to implementation.
• Have accurate understanding of the scope of work for each project assigned to you as Lead
• Maintain job folder, collect plans, construction documentation, engineering letters, etc.
• Request help as required, anticipating the need for additional carpenters so they can be scheduled in a timely fashion.
• Order materials not already ordered for the project
• Be able to read, interpret and understand blueprints, or details are given by the engineer.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Frame Carpentry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Frame Supervisor: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Work Location: Multiple Locations

Qualifications/Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor with:

• Strong organization, time-management, and people skills
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a supervisor – managing schedules, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of framing for commercial construction and residential
• A thorough knowledge and experience in Carpentry and Commercial Framing specifically with Apartment multifamily and commercial projects
• Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
• In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
• Any job-related certifications are a plus (OSHA & First Aid/CPR) or will train

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
