FP & A Analyst Job at Enhanced Technologies

We are looking to enhance our growing Corporate FP&A team with a Financial Analyst. As part of the team, this role will participate in all aspects of Corporate Finance & FP&A company wide. The role will prepare executive level briefings on business performance, providing variance analysis and forecasting to help the business meet its strategic and financial targets.

In this position, you will:
- Act as a key contributor to annual financial planning process, providing key analytics and strategic insights to business leaders, finance, and executives.
- Support the company’s financial models for forecasting, including 3-statement modeling, capital budgeting, bottoms-up planning, and scenario analysis.
- Support explanation of financial performance through monthly variance analysis of financial statements, highlighting key trends, and analyzing the cause of unexpected variances using both financial and non-financial variables.
- Assist in preparation of monthly executive business reviews and board of director presentations.
- Provide analysis of business unit and department financial performance and reporting.
- Support ongoing efforts to acquire new companies through forecasting, diligence, and integration support.
- Analyze cost trends and utilize funnel analytics.
- Function as key partner for finance and accounting teams.

- Well-versed in financial, accounting, economic, and banking principles.
- Strong analytical and logic skills.

- Ability to analyze numbers, recognize patterns, and perform calculations with ease.

Education & Experience:
- 0-3 years of experience in public accounting, corporate FP&A or other analytical roles.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and an inquisitive mind into underlying drivers of business performance.
- Creative problem solving with an ability to take ambiguous problems and turn them into practical solutions.
- Intermediate Excel skills preferred.
- Beginner Microsoft Power BI and or Tableau skills preferred.
Work Schedule/Travel:
- Standard Meriplex business hours of Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Additional hours occasionally required.
Physical Demands:
Sedentary Work – Exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
