Retail/Food Service Supervisor - $17.00 per hour

BCI at Grady Hospital is looking to fill the role of a retail and food service supervisor. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications, but have sufficient experience and talent.

Responsibilities for retail supervisor

• Cash register training for employees
• Supervisor will be responsible for training employees to achieve excellence customer service skills
• Maintain Food and labor costs
• Ensure unit is staffed to open and closed according to operating schedule
• Maintain Grade a sanitation at all times
• Will responsible for setting up and closing registers following cash handling procedures
• Will disciplines employees when needed following Grady dining Procedures
• Maintain inventory levels to ensure they are adequate to meet the needs of the operation
• All items listed on the tray ticket are present
• All items are the correct version for the special diet of the patient

Qualifications for retail supervisor

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail, preferably with major food service companies
• Prepare and complete full stock inventories, ensuring accurate management and counts
• Remain flexable as key responsibilities may change per the needs of the business
• Must have experience in budget control, inventory, training, problem resolution, decision making and multi-tasking
• Coordinates daily deliveries of merchandise
• Maintains standards of cleanliness and safety in all locations
• Communicates appropriate information to the IPS Manager on a timely basis
• Executes any other activities as requested by the Manager
• Bachelors in Hospitality or Business Management preferred
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and guest service skills to provide a positive and professional retail experience for guests and employees alike

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
