Highlight of Duties:

1. Able to sweep, mop, and polish floors; vacuum carpets; clean restrooms; wash windows and walls; move and arrange furniture and equipment; pick up outside refuse, across all campus sites.

2. Experienced in tile work, painting, drywall preparation, application and repair.

3. Understand and carry out oral and written directions.

4. Demonstrate ability to clean and sanitize areas of responsibility consistent with facility policy and procedure.

5. Attend all facility and department in-service training.

6. Work in cooperation with all other employees of the facility to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for both residents and staff.

7. Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to facility safety program at all times.

8. Check and attend to maintenance logs as directed.

9. All other assigned duties by department head or facility Administrator.

Job Requirements:

Must be capable of executing all terms and conditions set forth in the Employee Handbook, including, but not limited to:

· Work in a safety conscious manner, which ensures that safe work practices are used in order not to pose a risk to others in the workplace.

· Complies with company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations.

· Adhere to policy on Drug Free Workplace.

· Interact in a tactful, diplomatic, and humanistic manner with residents, families, visitors, and co-workers to provide a safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective caring environment which ensures the self-respect, personal dignity, rights, and physical safety of each resident and facility guest.

· Maintain a dependable attendance record and adheres to standards of cleanliness, grooming; hygiene, and dress code.
