Position Overview:
We are seeking a Fleet Coordinator to join our team at Navistar!

In this role, you will work in the Research and Development group at the Navistar Proving Grounds and provide direct support to meet the needs of new program vehicle testing and calibrations units. You will issue Fleet materials to vehicle engineering teams, coordinate transportation activities, and develop initiatives to best manage the fleet at your location of operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain impeccable records to ensure Fleet compliance to Federal, State, and local requirements
  • Research and respond promptly to requests regarding vehicle titles, license plates, inspections, monitoring devices, and transportation activities
  • Schedule units for routine and extended maintenance and update system logs
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure prompt processing and closure of VTO’s and VRO’s
  • Analyze data, prepare and present inventory and status reports
  • Conduct daily/weekly lot inventory to ensure vehicles and keys are in the correction location
  • Work with your peer counterparts at alternate locations for inbound/outbound vehicle control and keys maintenance
  • Perform onsite shop support such as vehicle porter and light shop assistance
  • Support all areas of Fleet and your location’s goals of safety, quality, and cost
  • Maintain Fleet and Company reputation by complying with regulatory, legal, and ethical considerations
  • Commercial Truck Driving experience is a plus
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2 years of project/program management experience
OR
  • Master’s degree
OR
  • At least 4 years of project/program management experience
Additional Requirements:
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
