Fitter/Welder Job at Edge Outdoors
Now hiring Fitter/Welder for work in an industrial environment. Structural welding experience is a plus. We would like to set up a weld test for you if you have 3-5 years of MIG & Flux Core Welding and Fitting experience.
Fitter/Welder Responsibilities:
- Layout, fabrication, fit, and welding skills are required.
- Using blueprints, shop drawings, and sketches
- Knowledge of conventional shop fabrication and welding equipment.
- Metric and standard prints must be read, as well as sectional views of prints.
- Knowledge of traditional shop fabrication and welding equipment.
- Use overhead cranes, forklifts, drill presses, and other similar equipment.
- Weld in numerous spots as specified by the prints.
Fitter/Welder Requirements:
- 3+ years of verifiable experience
- Reliable transportation to and from job site is a must
- Welding certifications are a plus but not a requirement
