We are looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Estimator/Project Manager with at least 5 years’ experience in the industry to join our team of professionals. We are in a unique position to be able to offer to our Commercial Customer Base, a “One Stop Solution” for their Plumbing, Air Conditioning, Fire Sprinkler and Alarm needs. This ability puts us ahead of our competition and we are growing as fast as we can find competent staff to perform to our standards.

Based in Palm Beach County we design, construct, and service Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Sprinkler, and Alarm systems. Our service departments provide commercial service 24/7 throughout a seven county area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform system engineering estimation to support the branch team
• Create cost estimates consisting of materials, sub-contractors, purchased equipment, labor, and other construction-related activities to assist in bidding or determining the price of a project
• Utilize plans and specifications to analyze project needs and compile detailed cost estimates
• Responsible for take-off and pricing of materials to ensure accuracy of quantity, size, configuration, voltage, options, etc.
• Identify possible cost-saving opportunities and/or risk items that will occur on various projects
• Ability to complete field surveys and assessments for fire sprinkler systems.
• Proficient in the use of personal computers to include operating systems such as Windows / Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Outlook.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience with fire sprinkler systems and new construction and retrofits of multifamily and/or all types of commercial projects
• Experience with a variety of system types and manufacturers
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings
• Proficiency in MS Office, estimating and take off tools
• NICET I / II or accumulated experience recommended
• Strong knowledge of industry codes (NFPA & FFPC)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent planning and organization skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a background check and drug test
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Thoroughness, reliability and attention to details.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience in various types of fire sprinkler systems.
• Experience as an Estimator of Fire Sprinklers Systems
• Strong knowledge in Reading blueprints.
