As a Financial Analyst (Sr Finance Spec) on the Business Analysis team, you will work with senior management to lead financial forecasting and budgeting, manage department spending, develop capital plans, create financial metrics to drive operational efficiencies, and provide analysis for strategic initiatives. This position will work directly with either a Sr Director or Vice President providing a high level of visibility, but also requiring a high level of communication and presentation skills.

What you bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree
  • In-depth knowledge of Earned Value methodology and basic knowledge of Earned Value Management systems
  • Clear understanding of internal financial practices in General Ledger Accounting, Rates and Compliance, and Cost Proposal, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Travel functions
  • In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong analytical skills including ability to analyze data and reconcile financial accounts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual budgets and forecasts for various functions throughout the organization
  • Provide recommendations and options to senior management on obtaining cost targets
  • Consult senior leadership on the financial impacts of decisions and providing financial insights
  • Develop ad hoc financial analysis to support planning, forecasting and departmental strategies
  • Lead capital budgeting and planning
  • Improve financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, and trends
  • Prepare financial reports by utilizing Oracle EPM Cloud, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Power BI, and other financial tools
  • Identify and drive process improvements
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial systems, processes, and regulations
  • Develop a strong partnership with the business function(s) you support

This position is ON SITE....a 'flex schedule' will be offered to allow for a partial 'work from home schedule' but you must be local to the facility.
