Position Summary:
This position will be a key player in the divisions overall financial health. Working with the Operations, Sales, and Leadership Teams, this position will study the company’s costs and report out on analysis. This position reports directly to the Controller and will work collaboratively to improve the financial health of the division.
Roles and Responsibilities/ Essential Functions:
- Understand and support the company’s Core Values.
- Collect and monitor data to be used to assist the Operations Team in making day to day, as well as, long term strategic decisions.
- Conduct profitability analysis as it’s related to customers and products.
- Maintains various access databases and spreadsheets used by the Accounting, Operations, and Sales Teams.
- Key participant in enhancing financial dashboards and business metrics and real time data availability.
- Establish and monitor product costs by understanding our operations and product offerings.
- Calculate monthly expense variance analysis and recommend areas of savings.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
- Review budget versus actual reporting monthly and recommend areas for improvement.
- Monitor item costing and the related inputs to help drive enhanced profitability.
- Ability to grow into increased responsibility and supervision within the Accounting department.
- Work with the Controller on other projects to help improve efficiencies.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:
- Experience in financial analysis and cost accounting
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with manufacturing analysis
Preferred Experience:
- Proficient with Microsoft BI tool
Required Skills, Education and/ or Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Must be very proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
