Heartworks Early Education is currently seeking a
Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in the
Burlington area. Heartworks Early Education is a network of 6 preschools and early learning centers across Vermont. We prioritize employee experience and the total well-being of our teachers and leaders.
A typical day looks like
- Assist supervisor in general maintenance of 6 childcare centers in Burlington area.
- Maintain and update facilities work order system
- Perform different maintenance tasks as directed, including, but not limited to:
- Interior and exterior general maintenance
- Painting
- Basic carpentry
- Move furniture
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to travel to various childcare centers
- Ability to pass a record check and fingerprinting
- No previous experience necessary
- Up to 40 hours a week with flexibility
Qualifications
- Understand and follow company policies and procedures
- Ability to work as a team with peers and follow direction
- Must be able to manage time efficiently
- Strong communication skills
- Physically capable of performing general maintenance tasks including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Stand, kneel, twist and bend to perform needed tasks.
