Our Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, Executive Director of Strategic Risk Management, and other leaders across relevant business units. This role must proactively manage calendars and arrange travel as needed; plan and oversee large-scale in-house meetings and working sessions; manage the coordination of technology, administration functions and food and beverage needs ensuring all required logistics are in place.

In one year as an Executive Assistant, you will know you were successful if you…

• Proactively manage calendars for the VP and ED of Strategy & Business Development including prioritizing and managing schedule changes.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare expense reports as needed
• Coordinate and prepare management and board of director meeting documents and presentations, including proofreading
• Prepare general and confidential business correspondence as needed, including creating meeting agendas, reports, agreements, and other correspondence using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• Demonstrate MISO core values.

We are looking for someone who has…

• High School Diploma or GED required OR
• Associates degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, (or 2+ years relevant work experience equivalency required)
• A minimum of two+ years previous experience in an Executive Assistant position
• Previous energy industry experience (preferred)
