Responsibilities

The installer or assistant will help the technicians complete installations in a timely manner and with quality workmanship. The installer or assistant partners with the technician in making decisions affecting the work with and through the Department Manager.

Must be willing to learn and follow safety measures, be a self-starter, open to continual learning, follow directions and work well as a team!

This position requires speaking with homeowners while in the field so you must be comfortable talking with people you do not know and be able to articulate problems or concerns.

Must possess a great attitude!

  Installers

A minimum of 1 year of heavy equipment operation.

3-5 years of residential water and sewer line repairs and replacements.

Trench less water and sewer experience is a plus!

A demonstrated interest in the residential plumbing industry.

Class A CDL in VA or CDL learners permit and can obtain Class A license within 90 days.

Must be able to operate an excavator at the professional level.

Assist in the installation of underground piping.

Load, unload and secure equipment on transport trailers according to DOT guidelines.

Ability to work in confined spaces and open trenches.

Effective and professional communication skills.

Clean driving record - no more than 1 moving violation in 3 years (no reckless/dui).

Clean background check and acceptable work/character references.

Pre-employment and random drug testing.


Assistants

Possess a CDL in VA or CDL learners permit and can obtain Class A license within 180 days. Ability to work in confined spaces and open trenches.

Assist in the installation of underground piping.

Clean driving record - no more than 1 moving violation in 3 years (no reckless/dui).

Load, unload and secure equipment on transport trailers according to DOT guidelines.

Clean background check and acceptable work/character references.
