JOB SUMMARY: Provide friendly and excellent service to every guest. Maintain a safe, clean, neat, and attractive environment for our guests and employees. Direct, report to, and receive instructions from the Maintenance Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. No previous experience in maintenance, housekeeping services, and/or janitorial work required. Must be able to effectively communicate within department standards and able to work independently.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

· Must be ambulatory and able to bend, twist, walk, stoop, and be on feet for an eight (8) hour shift

· Must be able to do heavy lifting and be able to bend, stretch, and climb

· Must be able to listen and respond to visual and oral cues

· Must be able to acknowledge, greet guests and respond to any questions or concerns they may have

· Must have the ability to work independently or in a group effort

· Must be able to handle multiple projects, have the ability to prioritize projects, and systematically complete projects

· Must be able to move quickly to problem areas

· Must be able to tolerate a sometimes noisy, smoke-filled environment

· Must be able to comfortably climb a 6 ft. ladder

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Uphold the quality standards for the department. Ensure all areas are clean and safe. Pick up and dispose of paper, debris, and beverage containers. Empty ashtrays, wipe up spills, polish machines, re-position chairs to machines, and place Casino coin cups by machines as needed. Be friendly and helpful to all guests and fellow employees. Assess any problems and notify the Maintenance Manager.

Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
