Johnson County Healthcare Center (JCHC) is an integrated healthcare center featuring a 25-bed critical access hospital, a 44-bed nursing home, an outpatient clinic and a home health and hospice program. JCHC serves residents of Johnson County, Wyoming, with a population of approximately 8,500 spread across 4,175 square miles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of cleaning duties to ensure that established standards of cleanliness are maintained in the hospital, clinic, and care center.
• Adjust cleaning duties to ensure that the needs of assigned areas are met.
• Performs work efficiently to contribute to an economical operation.
• Checks and inspects own work to ensure it is completed properly.
• Interacts cooperatively with others to contribute to a positive work environment.
• Performs work according to prescribed safety standards to ensure that a safe environment is maintained.
• Reports needed supplies and equipment maintenance to assure continued cleaning services.
• This position is trained for and must practice Universal Precautions, OSHA Classification, Category I.

Hours, Salary & Benefits:

• This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position – 1:00pm-11:30pm (4x10 with 3 days off a week)

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to learn and follow cleaning and safety procedures, aseptic techniques, and cleaning solutions necessary for designated areas
• Ability to learn the operation of such cleaning equipment as a buffer and vacuum;
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions;
• Ability to adjust duties to assigned area's traffic and needs;
• Ability to work independently.
• Physical ability may be required to lift bags of trash, pushing and pulling carts, and operating and moving equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.25 - $18.00 per hour
