ISAT is inviting friendly, ambitious, hard-working individuals to apply for our full-time Estimator/Detailer position. We are looking for motivated individuals interested in a long-term career. We are looking for applicants who have a strong work ethic and work well both independently and as part of a team.
Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Quote Preparation. Prepare project quotes, manage bid schedules, and occasional detailing of seismic bracing of MEP systems.
- Assist Detailers, Technical Support Specialists, and Technical Support Engineers. Includes (but is not limited to) drawing clean-up, copies, and scans.
- Submittals. Capable of building basic submittals
- Assemble Seismic/Vibration Isolation Kits. Develop an understanding of kit hardware and details and assemble small orders of seismic kits.
- Assist in Estimating/Business Development. Assist the Technical Support staff in the ongoing development & improvement of technical support procedures and systems.
- Keep a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Experience with MEP trades is desirable, but not required
- Construction knowledge is helpful
- Proficient with MS Office software (Word, Excel)
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet varying deadlines
- Ability to work efficiently both independently as well as part of a team
- High School diploma (GED) required a two-year technical degree a plus.
