SCSI is currently seeking an experienced "Equipment Repair Technician" for our Greer Division. This is an outstanding opportunity for motivated and talented applicants. As an "Equipment Repair Service Technician", you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a broad range of commercial cleaning equipment. You must possess a positive attitude, superb verbal and written communication skills. You must also be able to work independently without constant Supervision.

We are looking for exceptional people with the following skills:

- Commercial cleaning equipment troubleshooting and repair skills in mechanical and electrical systems

- Ability to understand and fill out service-related documents and paperwork.

- Strong attention to detail and a problem solving mindset

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to lift 70+ lbs.

- Basic tool inventory. We will provide any specialty tools that are needed.

Responsibilities:

• Use diagnostic equipment to evaluate mechanical problems.
• Diagnose and repair a variety of equipment types
• Perform quality inspections of equipment repairs prior to returning a machine to service.
• Assist with preparing labor and time estimates for diagnosed conditions.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
• Perform preliminary diagnostics to assist Service Manager with efficient dispatching of workload.
• Ensure shop supplies are kept up and stored properly
