Roles and Responsibilities:
Job Summary/Overview:
- This position will be responsible for performing all functions associated with Automation Equipment and/or Automation Operations within a Clean Room Environment (AMHS – 'Automated Material Handling System'). This includes:
- AMHS PM/Equipment Management (VHL/STK/HID)
- Scheduling Stocker PM and CIP Maintenance
- Troubleshooting/Error Recovery
- Project Management
- Control Change Points and Improvement Idea's
- Tool Management/Ordering (Hand tools/Auditing)
- Hardware Management (Nuts, Screws, Bolts Ordering)
- Fab In/Fab Out Stocker Maintenance and Operations (PM/CIP)
- Trend Data and Reporting
- Enforce Safety Principles (EEW/PPE)
- Calibration Cabinet Maintenance
- Documenting/Creating New SOPs
Specific Job Duties:
- AMHS Equipment Management
- VHL, STK (OHT and Reticle), Rail, HID, N2CS, FIFO, and EMO Equipment Management
- Coordinate and Schedule PM's: VHL 2x/yr, STK/N2CS 1x/yr, FIFO 2x/yr, Reticle STK 60/year (scheduling)
- Rail Cleaning and PM (1x/yr)
- Control Change points and Improvement Idea's
- Set-up and Execute CIP's
- Troubleshooting and Repair Lead
- Look for VHL/STK Trend Data and suggest Improvements
- Tool Management
- Order New Tools based on Monthly Audits (QA Engineer feedback)
- Calibration Cabinet Owner
- Ensure all tools are Fab Approved and not "black anodized steel"
- EMS/eSpec/SMDM
- Manage new EMS Accounts and Job Plans
- Purchase Requests and Budget Management
- Part Orders and Min/Max Levels
- Work Order QA and Review
- eSpec Revisions and Updating
- Adding New Assets to SMDM
- Asset Modification and Deletion

Skills and Qualifications:
Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required
- 4 Year College Degree (Mechanical or Electrical Engineer), or Equivalent Degree
- Semiconductor or High Volume Manufacturing experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools
- Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills
- Automation and Semiconductor Fab experience preferred
- Basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity
- Able to wear clean room suit and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per the SAS Fab protocol
- Work in tight fitting, Fab environment
- Must be able to lift > 25 lbs.
- PC, MS Office [Word, Excel, PowerPoint], reporting capability
