Sovereign Consulting Inc., an environmental consulting and remediation firm headquartered in Robbinsville, NJ, is seeking a full-time Environmental Manager with a minimum of 15 years of petroleum remediation experience, for its Houston, TX location.

Responsibilities will include project management of budget, schedules, and quality of product produced. This position will work closely with our clients to meet their project related needs and requirements. Additionally, some business development / marketing will be necessary in this position.

Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years experience in directly managing environmental and/or regulatory driven remediation projects associated with refineries, terminals and retail stations
• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required
• Design and implementation experience with solid and hazardous waste remediation projects is required
• Must have a firm understanding of RCRA and solid waste regulations and experience negotiating with regulators
• Experience with implementing closures using the TCEQ Risk Reduction Rules and RFI of operating facilities is required
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must have excellent communication and analytical skills
• Proficient in handling tasks independently as well as part of a team
• Must be able to multi-task effectively and meet deadlines

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
