Latham & Watkins, a global law firm consistently ranked among the top firms in the world, is seeking an Enterprise Applications Analyst - Events and Trials to join our dynamic team in our Global Services Office in downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. Travel to remote locations is required for up to 1-3 weeks at a time of this role, with total travel ranging from 25-50%, depending on number of offsite events each a year. Some travel could come up last minute. Lifting up to 50 lbs. of computer equipment on a semi-frequent basis is required of this role.

About the role
As an Enterprise Applications Analyst - Events and Trials, you will be responsible for project managing the planning and support of various business meetings, client events, war rooms, and court locations. You will also implement their plans onsite which includes the setup, maintenance, and support of all networking, software, and hardware for remote locations with the assistance of the other Enterprise Applications, Events and Trials team members. Other key responsibilities include:
- Planning and organizing multiple events, ensuring that there is proper support and equipment coverages
- Assisting the team in planning the logistics for upcoming offsite meetings, trials, or events
- Meeting and coordinating with other internal technology departments for various on-site events and trials
- Installing, configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting desktop/notebook and monitor hardware
- Troubleshooting software problems of practice office attorneys and paralegals as they relate to firm wide, departmentally-driven technology projects
- Researching and evaluating hardware and software on the market applicable to remote computing and to the legal profession, as well as making recommendations to the firm regarding new products
About you
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including the latest versions of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Windows Server, Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- Possess knowledge and proficiency of various remote communication methodologies, including Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Remote Desktop Services (RDS), Multifactor (MFA) authentication technology, and VPN
- Display the ability to assist with design, configuration, setup, and troubleshooting of offsite networks
- Have a background in AV/VC installation, setup, and support
And have:
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience working directly with legal professionals, preferably in trial and war room situations
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in project management related to planning event logistics
- A minimum of three (3) years of related experience working with desktop computers, notebook computers, and/or Remote Desktop Services (RDS) / Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) preferred, as well as experience with installations and upgrades, training, and technical documentation
Compensation & Benefits
Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also receive a generous and competitive total compensation package. The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location. Discretionary bonuses may be awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance — and profit-sharing partnership contributions to 401(k) accounts may be given based on firm performance.
