Engagement Skills Trainer II (EST II) Lead

Regular Full-Time

This position is contingent upon PD Systems receiving a contract award.

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Alternate instructor/system operator for each of the four ESTII systems. The system also requires an Alternate Senior or Lead Training and Development Specialist to monitor contractor personnel. The instructor/system operators are responsible for the operation and preventive maintenance of computer hardware, software, weapons system, target systems, video and audio control panel operation, after action review processing and playback. The Alternate Instructor/System operator operates the system in support of various drills and or exercises for Active Army, Army Reserves, or Army National Guard units as they conduct EST and related weapon instruction. Alternate Senior or Lead Training and Development Specialist who shall be responsible for the performance of the work if the Senior or Lead Training and Development Specialist is absent. The Alternate Senior or Lead Training and Development Specialist shall have full authority to act for the Contractor on all Task Orders matters relating to daily operation of this Task Order when the Senior or Lead Training and Development Specialist is absent. Alternate Senior or Lead Training and Development Specialist shall be available during operating hours between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday thru Friday accept Federal holidays or when the government facility is closed for administrative reasons.

Alternate Senior/Lead Training and Development Specialist shall be required to meet the following basic qualifications:

Minimum a two (2) year college degree or three years of college credit from an accredited college or university and three years’ experience in leading/managing/supervising a similar or related function associated with warehouse support operations.

Knowledgeable and capable of operating the following weapon simulators: M16, M4, M9, M2, M320, M240B, M249, MK19, M141, M1200 and AT4

The ability to communicate effectively and deal diplomatically with customers and co- workers and Must be able to obtain a positive adjudication of a NAC-I background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

Retired Senior NCO, Officer or Warrant Officer with formal educations/ college degree/ certificates in EST II training.
