Position Summary:
The Employee Relations & Talent Manager oversees a team of Sr HR Business Partners who work closely with leaders and employees to provide day-to-day HR consultation and support in employee relations, performance management/coaching, policy administration, employee development, succession planning, HR regulatory compliance, and policy interpretation in a manner that aligns to organizational goals and needs. This role will serve as the escalation point for complex employee relations issues and guidance for the HRBP team, as well as lead and prioritize team initiatives.

- Business Partnerships: Collaborate with cross functional partners to offer consultation, recommendations, and guidance on various complex employee situations.
- Performance Management & Employee Relations: Serve as primary escalation point for complex employee relations concerns brought forth from HRBP team.
- People Leadership: Direct, support, and develop HRBP team to achieve goals.
- Organizational Support: Maintain confidentiality and executes “Need to Know” information exchange.
- Project Management: Manage initiatives and projects set forth for the HRBP team.
Job Pay & Perks:
- Typical starting pay range: $88,500-100,000/yr.

About You:
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Ability to uphold the highest standards of ethics, including maintaining confidentiality.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on providing direction and clarity

- Strong business acumen
- Ability to assess risk to guide recommendations

- Familiarity and comfort working with HR software platforms, case management systems, Microsoft suite, and SharePoint
- Ability to cultivate and utilize resources
- Comfortable making difficult decisions and executing challenging conversations while maintaining professionalism
Prior Experience & Education:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources with a strong emphasis on employee relations required
- Minimum 1-2 years of leading a team preferred
- Experience working in or supporting a retail and/or non-profit organization is preferred
- SPHR/PHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred
