POSITION: Employee Relations and Compliance Specialist
STATUS: Full Time; 37.5 hours/week
SCHEDULE / HOURS: Monday through Friday; daylight office hours. Flexible to meet the needs of the organization.
LOCATION: Robinson Twp, PA
Partners For Quality Inc. (PFQ) is a private, non-profit organization based in Robinson Township. Partners For Quality provides administrative management to five subsidiary organizations that support local individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. PFQ?s management services include Fiscal (including payroll), HR, IT and Communications thus allowing subsidiaries to focus on their day-to-day priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Employee Relations and Compliance Specialist is responsible for maintaining positive employee relations, acting as a liaison between department managers and employees, and conducting internal investigations involving employee matters for Partners For Quality and its subsidiaries.
- Knowledge and understanding of labor and employment law and employee relations
- Provide information to employees on counseling, and other services and programs available to them
- Respond to complaints / grievances from employees
- Coordinate and participate, as assigned, in internal investigations involving employees in conjunction with Human Resources, Executive/Department Directors and/or Certified Investigators
- Provide support to management team on legal and regulatory issues concerning progressive discipline, employee evaluation and grievance procedures
- Prepare and/or assist managers to write notices of discipline, supervision notes and responses to complaints
- Participate, as assigned, in the review and/or update of all personnel policies and procedures to assure compliance with all Federal/State, Employment Statues and Corporate Policy
- Understand and comply with all Agency Policies and Procedures
- Assist the Employee Relations / Compliance Director with providing guidance and training regarding applicable personnel policies and procedures to new hires and management/professional employees
- Assist with preparation and submission of required annual surveys/reports
- Assist Director of Corporate Learning with preparation for all licensing regulations / standards for external audits by obtaining necessary employee information, as assigned
- Assist with developing procedures, policies, and best practices for operating within legal and ethical guidelines
- Participate in Unemployment Compensation related responsibilities, as assigned
SALARY / WAGES
$48,000 - $52,000
