Primary Responsibilities

• Repair of electronic equipment, basic testing and board repair
• Ability to work from detailed instructions and conform to strict quality assurance guidelines
• Assembly of electrical devices
• Use of hand- and power tools
• Testing electrical devices
• Administrative and reporting tasks as assigned
• Manual Soldering (Rework)
• Other duties as assigned

Must be able to function well in a team or group environment
Must be able to communicate well
Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize duties
Must be able to read and understand assembly drawings/schematics

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to distinguish colors, fine circuit detail, and tones
ESD protection required in manufacturing area

Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required

Associate Degree in Electronics, preferred
Requires 3-5 years technician experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
Certification in soldering, preferred
Knowledge of Windows XP and Windows 7
Knowledge of digital and analog electronic circuitry
Working knowledge of IPC workmanship and soldering standards
Proficient with Multimeters, Oscilloscope, Crimping, and Power Supplies
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation
Excellent organizational skills, problem solving techniques, and accuracy are essential
