Cimarron is seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to provide support to the NASA Volatiles Investigating Polar Exploration Rover (VIPER) Program at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.
Key Duties:

• Build and maintain technical expertise in spacecraft systems for use in supporting NASA programs and partnerships and effectively communicates expertise with all levels of NASA Management.
• Consults with other engineers and subject matter experts to assure product success. Works with personnel from multiple divisions, directorates, and centers to coordinate efforts for testing, consultation, and analyses.
• Reviews detailed designs, program plans, progress reports, and priorities with appropriate contractors to ensure compliance with contract specifications, mission objectives and schedules.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Preparing, presenting, and evaluating specifications, designs, reports, or other written communications.
• Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Designs hardware, software, and interface specifications.
• Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Experience with Spacecraft systems.
• Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
• Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
• Research’s specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
