Electrical CAD Designer

Trans-Market is a process design company with offices in Tampa, San Antonio, Houston and Los Angeles. Our primary focus is food, beverage and pharmaceutical processing. We provide process design, automation/controls, distribution sales, installation and commissioning of process systems including Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems, pasteurization, aseptic systems and sanitary processing.

The AutoCAD Electrical Designer will be responsible for designing electrical panel layouts and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities include accurately drawing, checking, and taking ownership for the timely completion of electrical drawings. This position will involve electrical design work for a UL listed control panel shop.

Candidate will perform the following specific duties:

· Control Panel & Motor Control Panel design for highly automated systems within the Food & Beverage Industry

· Documentation of Controls Systems Hardware Designs for construction through use of AutoCAD Software by creating drawings including, but not limited to:

• Control Panel Equipment Layouts
• Single Line Power Diagrams
• Electrical Schematics for PLC I/O, VFDs and Power Systems
• Communication Architecture Diagrams

· Development of project closeout package for Controls Systems Hardware including:

• Electrical Drawing Schematics
• Operations & Maintenance Manuals
• Technical Specification Datasheets

· Coordination with Project Teams comprised of Project Managers, Department Managers, Engineers and Installers for updated project requirements, communications, critical path and customer relations

· Enact & Communicate Revision Control on released Designs to Project Team

· Other duties as assigned.

- Experience in the sanitary food, beverage and pharmaceutical industry preferred

- Experience testing and troubleshooting electrical enclosures would be a bonus.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
- Candidate will participate in development of electrical designs and schematics for industrial control panels
- Candidate must have excellent communications skills, work well in a team environment and be self-motivated

- Candidate must be deliverables/schedule driven

- Up to 20% Travel
