Please join the team at Communities United and help us reach our Mission to provide high quality comprehensive education and family services to a diverse population of children, ages 0 to 5 years, and their families. Our goal is to ensure the success of the child, empower the family, and strengthen the community. The Educator/Family Support Specialist has dual responsibilities in the center which include working with a case load of families to provided case management and support as well as assisting in providing a developmentally appropriate preschool classroom. The EFSS provides outreach and recruitment for the center and assists with registration and enrollment of children for the center as well as supporting the Agency School Readiness and Family Engagement Plans. Portuguese speaker preferred.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of an Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or Human Services or other related field.
- EEC Teacher or Lead Teacher certification
- Experience working with children and families experiencing multiple stressors
- Experience working with families of varied socioeconomic status
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
