Clarendon Vision Development Center in Westmont, IL, is looking for a Part-time or Full-Time substitute teacher to become a Vision Therapist and join our growing team. No experience is necessary. We will provide complete paid training!

Teachers, Teaching Aids, Child-Development associates, and individuals that love working with children are encouraged to apply.

Position Overview:

• Vision Therapy is an effective treatment modality for many vision system problems.
• As a Vision Therapist, you will work with the doctor to coordinate and implement a vision therapy program for individuals of all ages and abilities.
• Each treatment session is a 45-minute, one-to-one experience where you will teach your patient the activities that develop or improve visual skills and processing.

• Paid training will be provided to learn the curriculum and teaching strategies, testing procedures, and administrative tasks associated with your role.

• A part-time or Full-Time Schedule is available.
• Position hours are flexible and may include evenings and Saturdays.

Requirements:

• Previous experience is not required. Full, paid training provided.
  
• Familiar and efficient with computers and technology.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children is a plus but not required.
• Candidates with experience and interest in early childhood education are encouraged to apply.
