Calling all CNC Machine Setup Operators/EDM Operators

Our client in the Peabody area is growing and is need of some experienced CNC Setup Machine Operators with EDM expereince being a huge plus but will train the right candidate. This is a very well established company that could provide years of job stability and they have an excellent benefits package after your probationary period

Working Hours: Monday-Friday from 6:00am-2:30pm

Compensation: $23.00-$28.00 hourly

Job Responsibilities

• Will be setting up and operating various CNC Machines including a Wire EDM.
• Will need to interpret blueprints to perform work.
• Will perform final QC on machined parts using Vernier Calipers and Micrometers.
• Must maintain both manual and computerized production records.
• Report any needed equipment maintenance to your supervisor
• Must keep you work area clean
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Must have at least 2- 5 years of experience with CNC Setup and milling + Lathe
• Experience Setting up reference points
• Will need prior experience using Vernier Calipers and Micrometers.
• Wire EDM expereince is a big plus but willing to train someone with solid CNC Machinist background.
• Willingness to cross-train
• Great attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
• Must have the ability to interpret, drawings, sketches, and work instructions.
• Willingness to submit to back ground check and drug screening
