EDI Analyst (Recent Software Dev Graduate preferred) Job at Central Garden & Pet
Our Corporate Information Services team is searching for an EDI Analyst (Remote) for our Chilton, WI office. This is a remote position with preference for candidates in the Chilton/Milwaukee/Chicago area. Reporting to the EDI Team Lead, this position will be part of the Enterprise Solution Management group within Central Information Services. This position will take direction from both the EDI Team Lead and the EDI Technology Lead and provide support for facets of Central’s EDI solution. This will include working on production support, minor enhancements, and projects. Key areas of focus will be daily auditing, troubleshooting daily transactional issues, testing new EDI documents, and completing EDI configuration.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
- Daily Auditing and Data Validation plus troubleshooting and interacting with Central CSRs and our trading partners EDI representatives
- Resolve support issues, including troubleshooting within Sterling B2B Integrator and SAP (IDOCS/SD/MM/Workflow)
- Performing on-going data quality checks between EDI & SAP
- On-Boarding of new EDI trading partners (including configuration and testing)
- Participating in larger projects such as deploying new transactions onto EDI
- Maintaining design documentation
- Developing expertise in Central’s Order Management (SAP OTC) solution
- Develop expertise in Central’s core business functions related to Order Management, Outbound Deliveries, and Invoicing
- Develop relationships with users, supervisors, and managers in the business
- Other tasks as deemed necessary by the EDI leadership team
IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES
- Associate degree in computer technology or business-related field
- Minimum 1 year experience in Information Technology
- Strong MS Office skills (Word and Excel)
- Ability to operate across multiple projects concurrently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong work ethic, desire to learn, and excel
- Linux, Oracle Database, Sterling B2B integrator
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Full time hours, typically 8 to 5 Monday through Friday with a one-hour lunch break and two 15-minute breaks throughout the day.
- Typical duties will occur in an office setting, however, candidates will be required to visit our manufacturing facilities. Remote work can be an option for this position.
