Sentara Princess Anne Hospital located in Virginia Beach, Virginia is seeking an Echocardiographer
This position is part time days, 20 hours a week with scheduled call required.

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital is a 174-bed acute care hospital that serves Southern Virginia Beach, as well as the neighboring Chesapeake and northeastern North Carolina communities. In 2016 Sentara Princess Anne Hospital achieved designation as a Magnet Hospital by the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Princess Anne Hospital is located about 20 minutes from the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. If you love the shoreline, you will find 14 miles of open public beaches with no fees and steps away from the calming waters of the bay. You will find myriad festivals, cultural events, live concerts on the sands and boardwalk stages.
Echocardiographers responsibilities include performing two dimensional echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, trans esophageal echocardiograms and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for the evaluation of heart disease and blood flow abnormalities. Our Sentara Princess Anne location also provides echocardiograms for the Neonatal Nursery. Echocardiographer completes the technologist report in the structure report application.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (or equivalent education) in accordance with IAC Guidelines. Adult echocardiography registry (RCCS or RCS or RDCS) within in 12 months of hire.
BLS certification required.
