Early Intervention Program Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking an exceptionally qualified candidate to lead the RAISE Early Intervention Program for families with infants and toddlers who have developmental delays and/or disabilities or who are at high risk for delay. The RAISE Manager has advanced knowledge of Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, infant/toddler development and the impact of delay and disability on development, and the provision of quality early intervention services. The manager develops, coordinates, and supervises programmatic, administrative, and financial activities of the program, and serves as the Local System Manager for the Infant & Toddler Connection of the Rockbridge Area, working in partnership with the state early intervention office and local agencies to ensure all families receive appropriate early intervention services and all state contract requirements are met. The manager supervises the activities of the RAISE transdisciplinary team which includes a physical therapist, speech/language pathologists, an occupational therapist, educators, and service coordinators. The manager also provides direct services, including service coordination.
Minimum Qualifications: Must meet qualifications to be an Early Intervention Professional and a Service Coordinator in accordance with the Infant & Toddler Connection of Virginia’s Practice Manual for Part C services (see ITCVA Resource Library — Infant & Toddler Connection of Virginia, Practice Manual, Chapter 12, pages 11-16). Also, at least 5 years of experience in a field closely related to early intervention/early childhood development. Valid Virginia driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
