SUMMARY

The driver for Dahl Restaurant Group ensures that the company hasthe necessary suppliesrequired for daily operation. They will pick up and deliver produce and various other restaurant supplies, as well as company information, documents, supplies between restaurants as well as the corporate office.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pickup products and orders as necessary from vendors and deliver to DRG locations as necessary.
• Loads truck, ensuring all items are accounted for, and secures load so that no products or goods are damaged in transit.
• Delivers items by identifying destinations; works with restaurant staff to unload and organize the delivery
• Maintains truck by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Maintains safe operation and professional appearance by complying with operational policies, procedures and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations.
• Maintain, organize and inventory items in storage units.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Valid Arizona Drivers License and clean Motor Vehicle Report
• Ability to read orders and packing lists and reconcile accordingly
• Must have strong knowledge of restaurant products
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
