We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our shipping and receiving department. You track ingoing and outgoing inventory, perform daily cycle counts, and report any discrepancies and reconciling. You must also keep inventory counts in our ERP system up-to-date, as this allows employees in other departments to check stock levels and work more efficiently.

do?
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our shipping and receiving department. You track ingoing and outgoing inventory, perform daily cycle counts, and report any discrepancies and reconciling. You must also keep inventory counts in our ERP system up-to-date, as this allows employees in other departments to check stock levels and work more efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Inspection of all received goods for quality and quantity requirements- Track and document changes in inventory
- Perform cycle counts, or check different sections of inventory on a rotating basis
- Reconcile discrepancies
- Use our ERP system to communicate inventory information with other business units
- Ensure proper labeling and shipping
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Completes and adheres to all required safety training
- Report all accidents and near misses within 24hrs
- Engage in continued education opportunities
- Maintains a clean, neat and member-ready area.
- Other duties, as assigned
What do you need?
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Forklift Certified within 30days of Hire
- HAZ Shipment certified within 60days of Hire (UPS & FedEX)
- 5+ years related experience in Warehouse Distribution
- Familiarity with multiple web browsers and Google based platform
- Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Must pass pre-employment background screen
