Inventory Assistant Manager – Cannabis Dispensary

Position Summary:
The Inventory Associate Manager (IAM) reports to the Inventor Manager (IM). The IAM is responsible for all aspects of inventory management with a focus on compliance with MA state laws, Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) regulations, company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and loss prevention. A detailed understanding of all State regulations regarding the labeling and packaging of cannabis products and ensuring compliance in all aspects pertaining to the inventory are essential to this job. This position reports to the Inventory Manager.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
· All aspects of inventory management
· Assist in Opening and Closing procedures
· Assist with product set-up on retail floor
· Fulfill pre-order sales
· Execute operational initiatives on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis
· Deliver results by ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly
· Support all safety and security policies within retail stores
· Maintain records and check accuracy of inventory cycle counts, investigate, and resolve any discrepancies, and report to management
· Exercise independent judgment, analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
· Support the implementation and maintenance of POS and state required reporting system METRC to monitor inventory movement and support the company’s inventory management
· Able to report on all inventory and order-related transaction history
· Ensure proper organization, security, and storage of inventory
· Identify opportunities to improve workflow and remain current with industry best practices, trends, and technologies
· Improve the business processes for all aspects of operations through analysis and collaboration with IM, GM, and vendor partners

Required Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail
· Cannabis industry experience a plus
· Experience with METRC and LeafLogix/Dutchie OS
· Must pass a comprehensive background check (CORI) annually to ensure compliance within Cannabis Control Commission regulations and NESH SOPs
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· High School Diploma or GED required
· Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
Environmental Factors & Physical Requirements:
Employees may be required to bend, squat, kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, complete repetitive hand movements, and/or walk intermittently throughout the day. Employees be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time. Employees may also be exposed to company approved chemicals for sanitation purposes. Team members will also be exposed to packaged cannabis and cannabis products while onsite.
