Warehouse - Dock Dispatcher

Mainfreight Warehousing- Chicago

Mainfreight’s Chicago Warehousing branch continues to grow and we are looking for more team members to join us! We are looking for a new Dock Office Dispatcher to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments an assure our dock runs smoothly!

Your focus will be outstanding service for our customers, and the drivers that move their product in and out of the building. You will need to be able to manage our dock in a fast paced environment, while still being able to have the correct attitude to deal with multiple customers at once on the dock.

The schedule for this role is 9:30am to 6pm M-F

The successful applicant will be able to:

• Communicate with customers, truckers, third parties to move product in and out of the building effectively.
• Manage team members to help process loading and unloading as needed.
• Schedules inbound and outbound shipments as needed
• Act with flexibility and urgency, can make quick decisions to assure product moves correctly.
• Have a HIGH attention to detail to assure that right product enters and leave the building.
• Resolve customer service issues by identifying and explaining the best solution, taking the appropriate action and following up to ensure complete resolution.
• Prepare reports as need to confirm what was shipped and received.
• Manage through any issues with shipping (wrong/bad product, missing product, missing paperwork, etc.).
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
• Drive forklift equipment to help with loading / unloading as needed.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
