Role: Director of Supply Chain

Role Type: Full-time ( No 3rd party or contractors)

Location: Anywhere in the US, West Coast Preferred (San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego )

Travel : 60% - 80%

Salary: 180k - 250 k (Depends on Experience) + Bonus

Retail Supply Chain SME with expertise in leading large supply chain transformations from a domain/solutions perspective and collaborating with business leadership to ensure value delivery

Responsibilities:

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership in supply chain, to retail customers
• Proactively work with sales teams to curate a contextual, comprehensive solution in supply chain domain for customers
• Oversee business transformation programs from a retail domain/business value perspective
• Provide retail domain flavor to the solutions proposed for the supply chain opportunities
• Lead and mentor a team of business consultants/analysts
• Interface with industry analysts to detail our capabilities and experience in supply chain domain.
• Drive knowledge management and process competency development in various account teams
• Collaborate with other functions within the organization to conceptualize retail specific supply chain offerings
• Role requires travel up to 60 – 80% of the time

Must Have

• Bachelors (Mandatory), MBA (preferred)
• Generic Managerial Skills
• Strong experience in retail supply chain functions, including omni-channel order management, transportation management, warehousing, forecasting, replenishment and inventory management
• Must have led multiple large transformation programs in supply chain for retailers
• Ability to drive engagements with Chief SC Officer/leaders in retailer SC organization, focused on business transformation
• Ability to work with customer SC leadership on driving improvements to key SC metrics
• Ability to lead responses for solution proposals from a domain/business value/KPI perspective Good to Have
• Line function experience in any of the supply chain functions in retail organization
• Experience in running supply chain consulting engagement Knowledge of any of the leading SC solutions including BY, SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, HighJump, Relex, o9, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $180,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
