You work in partnership with customers to define and execute a winning growth strategy for both Mondelēz International and the customer.
How you will contribute
The Director of Sales, National Convenience Retailers will lead a team of sales leaders to define , build and execute a joint snacking category strategy with key strategic national convenience retailers. They are responsible for leading the national convenience retailer business in develop ing consumer and customer centric Joint Business Plan s that accomplish short and long term KPIs. The Director of Sales is experience d building strategic customer partnerships , revenue /profit planning and forecasting , leading the execution of commercial strategies and utilizing insights and analytics to develop annual customer JBP s. To be successful in driving full customer stewardship, they must work closely with the customer’s Executive Leadership Team and internal MDLZ cross functional support team including Category Development, RGM, Finance, Customer Supply Chai n, Shopper Insights and Sales Planning.
How you will contribute
You will:
Develop and steward relationships with the customer’s leadership team and key decision maker s across multiple functions
Lead sales team to c reate Joint Value Creation by u tilize insights and analytics to develop a multi-year JBP
Accountable for communicati ng internally customer team’s performance through KPI scorecard and adjust ing plans as needed
Deliver team’s annual Net Revenue, Gross Profit and OI targets
P articipate on the National Convenience Retailers Leadership Team and p rovide thought leadership and coaching to the National Convenience Retailer team to develop capabilities, set expectations and nurture talent

- Minimum of 10 years’ customer management experience
- Cross functional experience in sales planning, customer insights, retail marketing and/or supply chain
- People leadership is required
Education / Certifications: Four Year Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred)
Travel requirements: up to 50 %
