Job Summary
The director of Professional Services leads a professional services team; from hiring and training new team members to developing tactical plans to accomplish strategic goals. They work with engineering managers to set goals and objectives, execute projects on time and within budget, resolve issues, and deliver quality solutions that provide value to customers.

What you’ll own

• Manages the professional services team and ensures that they meet goals and objectives
• Manages and reports status towards financial, performance, quality, and operational goals
• Plans and coordinates the work of professional services team members
• Designs strategies for future development projects based on the company’s overall objectives and resources
• Works with managers to set goals and objectives and plans to meet the goals and objectives
• Collaborates with leadership to develop tactical plans to execute on the strategic goals
• Serves as a point of escalation and resolves issues
• Ensures that the professional services team delivers quality work, within budget and timelines, that provides value to customers
• Other related duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Interviews additional staff as needed
• Oversees engineering services team and ensures that they meet goals and objectives
• Provides feedback on team members' performance in a timely and constructive way
• Helps team members create personal and professional growth goals

What we’re looking for

• 10 - 15 years of in-depth professional services experience and are well versed in what’s next in multiple engineering domains network engineering, systems engineering, virtualization, and security
• Significant Experience supporting multiple, highly complex engineering projects
• A demonstrable track record of leading engineering teams. Delivered results that drove measurable business gain and growth in team members.
• The appropriate mix of technical and business skills as well as an ability to translate customer and market opportunities into solutions.
• Strong business acumen, financial skills, and overall leadership skills. In addition to being a functional technology leader, can identify key business opportunities that will drive continued value creation for the company.

What to expect

• Office environment: prolonged sitting at a desk and using a computer, must be able to lift at least 10 pounds, and be able to work in an office with other employees.
