The Assistant Director of Nursing will support the Director of Nursing to assume responsibility for the oversight of clinical practice, regulatory compliance, and above all, commitment to meeting the needs of residents and their families.
Salary range of $78,362- $99,283 annually (depending on experience) with an excellent benefits package including:

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the oversight of clinical practice and regulatory compliance
- Supervise a stable and high functioning staff of Nurse Managers, Supervisors and direct care staff.
- Ability to oversee the department budget, regulatory compliance, staffing patterns and personnel issues.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current Maine licensure as a Registered Nurse (Bachelor’s Preferred)
- Experience in gerontological nursing, preferably in management
- Knowledge of State and Federal regulations governing the operation of a long-term care facility
- On-Call Rotation - Taking Calls and potentially working a shift on a residential unit
- Considerable experience in rehabilitative, gerontological and long-term care nursing
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to lead a professional staff through continued change
- Willingness and flexibility to do what it takes to help maintain our high standards
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical exam
