The Director of Marketing provides marketing, editing, and administrative support by implementing administrative systems, processes, procedures, and policies, and creating and monitoring marketing and sales projects. This position is responsible to support the sales team in all their projects including trade shows, associations, webpages, social media, writing, graphic, editing, and proofreading support to all other departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute general marketing campaigns to support our brand, drive awareness, and increase customer acquisition and retention.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities, and use insights to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaigns
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to support existing and new product launches across all channels
• Manage the marketing team, including mentoring team members to support their professional development
• Works with other members of ownership/management group to achieve firmwide goals.
• Plans and schedules marketing support activities to ensure that goals are accomplished, and deadlines are met.
• Tracks marketing budget for all activities.
• Strategizes sales opportunities with SBC’s to develop winning proposals/presentations; may also write and develop proposals when needed.
• Manages collateral materials development, conferences/trade-shows, public relations and advertising programs, corporate identity development and implementation, special events, and direct mail programs.
• Directs activities of consultants, such as advertising, public relations, graphic design firms, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required – preferably in Marketing or Communications, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in marketing with proven success
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data

• Responds quickly to a variety of difficult situations.
• Management skills are required
• Experience/knowledge of the construction industry preferred
• Occasional domestic travel as needed
