WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Organizational Alignment: Contributes to the development of HR plans and strategies to align with the achievement of a specified business unit and/or system objectives.

  • HR Implementation: Oversees and delivers HR services to coworker relations, talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, talent management, training and leadership development, compensation and benefits, and other areas as assigned.

  • HR Implementation: Identifies, develops, and may deliver a variety of HR related training programs based on organizational needs, such as HR policy, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations. Partners with leadership to determine training needs and develop training programs and materials.

  • Data Analysis: Analyzes data and makes recommendations to management on a variety of Human Resources metrics to align Human Resources strategy with system strategy.

  • Compliance: Consults and collaborates with leadership and/or co-workers regarding employment-related concerns; leads in accordance with policies, employment law, and established practices.

  • Advising: Advises leadership regarding key organizational and management issues.

  • HR Implementation: Develops and implements facility human resources initiatives to foster positive co-worker work attitudes such as job satisfaction and organizational commitment, decrease turnover and increase co-worker job performance.

  • Compliance: Develops practices that comply with facility and system policies as well as federal, state, and local government regulations and laws in the human resources specialty area(s) assigned.

  • Organizational Alignment: Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and coworkers that reflect the business objectives of the organization.

  • Human Resource Representation on Legal Matters: Represents the facility in conjunction with Legal in related matters such as EEOC, ADA, DOL, FLSA, FMLA, and litigation; oversees and prepares for the applicable accreditations.

  • Process Improvement: Identifies and implements new approaches policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of department and services performed.

  • Organizational Alignment: Implements HR best practices that effectively communicate and support business unit and/or the system's strategic vision.

  • Compliance: Identifies legal and regulatory requirements affecting the Human Resource functions and audits to ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance; oversees and prepares for the applicable accreditations.

  • Succession Planning: Works with leadership to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the system.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree - Required

  • Master's Degree - Preferred

  • 7 years Progressive HR leadership experience - Required

  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) - Preferred

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) - Preferred

  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) - Preferred

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) - Preferred

  • Experience working in a Human Resources function with a shared service delivery and strategic business partner model - Preferred

TRAVEL IS REQUIRED:

Up to 20%
