The Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEI&B) oversees the development and implementation of programs and services that promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging within our organization. As a Director DEI&B, you will be responsible for measuring and monitoring diversity, employee engagement as well as developing new programs and practices that effectively increase diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging and providing support to leaders across the organization.
Your Contribution to the Mission
Design, implement and oversee best in class employee engagement strategy and tactics that supports organizational goals and priorities including retention efforts as well as diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across the organization
Develop project plans, track milestones and establish key metrics required to achieve both short and long-term DEI&B goals including the impact and effectiveness of process improvements.
Identify and manage strategic partnerships, including speaking opportunities, internal and external events, awards and recognition opportunities, thought leadership, media relations and executive positioning aligned with organizational and DEI&B related goals and objectives
Create, define, and implement a vision for Employee Resource Groups to ensure they support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, feedback, and employee engagement that is aligned with overall organizational priorities
Manage a Peakon engagement survey process, tools, and company action plans. Develop initiatives to communicate employee satisfaction scores, engagement levels, employee morale, and to improve overall employee experience.
Lead transformational change and ensure resources and supporting tools are provided to foster effective execution and adoption of DEI&B leading practices across HR processes and throughout the employee experience.
Partner with Stakeholders across the business to embed the strategy and principles into processes, policies and practices aimed at improving attraction, recruitment, retention, development, and advancement of a diverse workforce
Partner with Talent Acquisition Director to drive aligned and enhanced enterprise-wide strategy for partnerships with STEM-focused and affinity-based organizations.
Model how to embody a workplace culture that is inclusive, empathetic and produces equitable outcomes by valuing everyone’s voice.
Contribute meaningfully to internal communications efforts where all-staff or broad stakeholder groups are the audience(s) by providing or advising on content that is inclusive, relevant, and supports the employee engagement strategy
Engage in continuous professional development to stay on top of the ever-evolving employee engagement and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging field to ensure learnings are coming back into the organization
To Land This Job, You Need
Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
Demonstrated experience in implementing and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies and initiatives
Effective leadership skills, including the ability to influence, motivate and inspire others
Strong project management skills to drive projects to completion, including the ability to lead complex projects, establish and manage workplans
Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and ability to build positive relationships with multiple stakeholder groups and identities
Strong written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated experience and success in facilitating groups of varying in size, scope, and stakeholder composition
