Summary
Responsible for effectively applying the principles and practices of health planning and clinic management to manage, direct, and coordinate the health service in a region of Dallas County or specialty care service line to achieve health center/clinic goals, organization objectives, and population management improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all aspects of administrative, business, and clinical operations for assigned health centers/clinics in region or service line of responsibility.
  • Participates in leadership planning to systematically review community/service line issues and interventions. Develops strategies with medical leaders of the service area to achieve implementation of a targeted plan that meets the needs of the service area population. Service area plan may include preventive services, specialty services, health education, and wellness management skills.
  • Responsible for the health centers/clinic performance improvement program. Modifies approach, communications, and interaction to consider sensory impairments and specific needs of all customers.
  • Provides weekly, monthly, and annual reports to evaluate and demonstrate operational and clinical performance. Communicates results to the Senior Vice President of Operations for Population Health and Population Health administration. 7.
  • Oversees the activation, membership, and meeting content of the community Advisory Boards. Within the region of responsibility, attends Advisory Board meetings and participates in community activities designed to advance community health knowledge and achievement of population health outcomes. Activities include, but are not limited to, educational events, screenings, promotion of good health practices, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements
  • Master's Degree Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field of study

Equivalent Education and/or Experience
  • May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.
