The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for helping maintain and execute the multi-platform digital creative content strategy for Johnston & Murphy. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with interest in digital marketing areas such as Email and Social Media and have a passion for brand marketing.

How You Will Make an Impact
- Develop and maintain monthly email, SMS, and social communication calendars working closely with the Creative team on seasonal product stories and overall brand messaging.
- EMAIL:
- Author email copy and manage asset production.
- Track production milestones to ensure timely delivery of digital assets.
- Partner closely with Email Service Provider (Cordial) and cross-functional teams including Creative, Merchandising, and Ecommerce, to plan, proof, and launch daily emails ensuring on-time and accurate asset delivery.
- Facilitate the email QA process by reviewing and testing all email campaigns and ensuring flawless execution of all campaigns and test scenarios.
- SOCIAL MEDIA:
- Plan, author, schedule, and publish on all relevant JM social media channels - including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and others - maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Respond to customer comments and messages across primary social channels.
- Research current and emerging social media trends, curate and share ideas for engaging content.
- Coordinate photography for social and email with internal photographer as needed.
- Manage User Generated Content rights and publishing tool.
- Track and prepare monthly reports on social media engagement.
- Assist with selecting brand influencers and fulfilling PR orders on behalf of our PR firm.
- Communicate digital marketing plans and calendars to the Customer Contact Team.
Experience and Skills You'll Need to Have
- Bachelor degree in marketing or related field of study
- 2-3 years relevant experience
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Email Service Provider (ESP) experience preferred
- Cordial, Yotpo, Sprout Social platform exposure preferred
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics a plus
- Active interest in social networking and trends and knowledge of social media platforms
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Performs to a high-level of accuracy and quality
- Highly organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
- Works well under pressure; can multi-task in a deadline sensitive environment
- Possesses excellent project management skills
- Detail oriented and deadline driven
- Ability to convey a professional, positive, service-oriented attitude
